A few days back, one of my ex-colleagues initiated a discussion about “Emotions” involved in Sales cycle on a professional website and that re-ignited a question in my mind - ‘Which is the BEST approach to conclude a sales deal?’ - A transactional sales approach or a relationship based sales approach?

In my decade long sales career, I have been thinking about this almost on a daily basis and have tried to come to a conclusion, but never got a perfect answer. I know I am inclined towards one approach but not yet able to conclude whether it is right or wrong.
